Here are a few items you might want to know more about:Cheryl Morrow runs the Curl Academy, which is a base for her research into Afro-textued hair. Our co-host, Cassandra Lawson, has experienced massive hair loss. Her comments in this podcast demonstrate how awesome she is as a hair loss survivor, and how her experiences have allowed her to be a wonderful support person for her hair loss clients. Sisterlocks has partnered with Cheryl Morrow, the creator of Cosmetic Trichology. Because traditional trichology did not meet her needs, she embarked on a path of additional research that focused on textured hair. She named the resulting body of information, Cosmetic Trichology. The creation of the Trichology Analyst Certification by Sisterlocks resulted from our collaboration with Cheryl Morrow.

I'm visiting the podcast late, but I am enjoying them immensely. I'm interested in the hair loss segment discussion with Cheryl Morrow. I would love to hear more discussed on attributing factors to hair loss and how a person's everyday regiment can help prevent hair loss as well as vitamins and minerals needed daily to impede hair loss. For example many of my clients do not properly moisturizing using the moisture treatment water mix daily and as Dr. Morrow explained Afro-texture hair thrives in water. Also, clients I have, having hair loss showed signs of low iron and Vitamin D deficiency to name a few. I look forward to taking the trichology analyst class in the future. ..Thank you

I'm disappointed that female pattern hairloss was not addressed. Are we assuming that black women don't suffer from this hereditary form of hair loss?

I have many clients that has suffered from hair lost. So this video was exciting to hear knowing that something is out there that is tailored towards that area in hair care. I also just learned what a trichologist is which is someone that study the three layers of the hair strain. It’s also good to know that I’m im in a community that has systems and trainings that caters to hair lost education.
